Thank you for visiting Patio Table Linens by Patricia, I have no doubt you will be very pleased with your custom-made beautiful Linens. I have clients now who won’t even have chips and salsa out on their patio table without first putting on their favourite Patio Tablecloth! You will soon see what they mean!

So how did this all come to be? My husband and I do a lot of outdoor entertaining in the summertime. I’m an avid cook, so I loved having people over for barbeques outside. However, I would always seem to have these three nagging problems:

1. I’d have to wait to set the table, since I didn’t want the placemats to blow off the table. If I left the plates outside on top of the placemats to keep them in position, there’d be flies and other creatures buzzing and landing on the plates so that didn’t appear to be all that appetizing. It also meant last minute stressing getting the table ready while trying to be in the kitchen working on the final touches.
2. Placemats are great! Sometimes though, I wanted a more formal/intimate décor that would require a beautiful tablecloth.
3. I wanted to hide our ugly plastic patio table.

One summer evening back in 2002, I had this flash of inspiration… why not create beautiful tablecloths specifically for patio tables?! They’ll have an opening in the centre of the tablecloth to allow the umbrella pole to slide through (no last minute ragged scissor cuts to make that hole in the centre of the cloth) plus a handy Velcro side closure so you can slip the tablecloth on and off with ease, and our unique original concept of placing ‘Pockets’ (Industrial Design Patent # 111433) to hold pebbles or stones on the actual tablecloth so that your table linens stay in place. There is no other Outdoor Tablecloth like this in the marketplace! We’re the Originators!

And of course, utilizing fantastic fabrics and ‘Piping’ as an accent trim in every colour imaginable!

I have found some incredible seamstresses/designers that are brilliant at what they do, and together we have come up with Patio Table Linens!
